Over the years, I have been asked a lot of questions regarding the BMFC and the parties I organise. I thought it would be good to have a page where the most frequent of these questions are addressed.
You keep on talking about the “Party Process” – But what is it???
It’s a process that we have established to ensure that we have all the measures in place to guarantee that all of our guests have a great party!!

Do you have to be a member to attend BMFC Parties??
Yes – only members of the BMFC site are eligible to attend any of our parties
I have no experience on the swinging scene – is there anything that I should know???
Yes – take the time out to read through our tips on BMFC etiquette and then when you have done that, read the answer to every question here!!
I don’t know what to wear – what do you suggest??

My motto is, if u feel good in it, wear it ... if u feel sexy in it chances are u will LOOK sexy in it!! ...
What is the average age of the guests at the BMFC Parties??
This is a difficult one to answer, as we will only know that when people walk through the door, but generally our female guests tend to be around 40 years old …. When ladies reach 40, they are at an age when they know what they want and one thing that they DON’T want is drama …
The average age of the Black Guys who attend, tends to be slightly younger and if I had to guess, id say its in the region of 35
We do not encourage anyone under the age of 25 to attend the BMFC Parties, so if you are of that age and like to be in the company of young people then maybe the BMFC isn’t for you!
The most important thing for me though isn’t the age (unless you are under the age of majority), it’s the attitude of our guests … And when we get THAT right, we know we’re all in for a great party!!
Are all the female guests game for a fuck??
Not at all … and even if they were, the guys still need to make an effort coz the girls may not even fancy them anyway!! ….
There’s a common misconception that all females on the swinging scene are easy, but this couldn’t be further from the truth.
Guys, please ensure that you dig out your O’Level in flirting coz if it’s a fuck you want, its not gonna come when you click your fingers!! … Guys, if you cant pull a girl in a “normal” club, then trust me, you wont get one at a BMFC party either!! ….
BMFC Parties are not a training ground for social skills – we expect that everyone knows the art of conversation coz believe me guys, if the girls are impressed with you, THEY will drag you off somewhere to play!!
What happens if one of the guests doesn’t take “no” for an answer??
We have a very strict no pressure policy and ANYONE abusing it can and will be removed from the club and not be given a refund.
In all of our time organising the parties, we can proudly say that we have NEVER yet had to remove ANYONE but trust me, we wont hesitate to do so …
Plus, if there is adequate reason, we will also revoke membership from the BMFC site
Does everyone have to use condoms??
Obviously, the risk of catching STI’s, Hep B, HIV etc are increased when people do not use condoms when having penetrative sex.
We therefore promote safe sex at all of our BMFC Parties – however we are not the condom police and we do NOT patrol the party, reminding guests to “wellie up”…
Safe sex and the use of condoms is a discussion that must take place between 2, 3, 4 or more consensual adults …
However, we MUST stress that we do NOT provide free condoms at our parties, however they will be available to buy.
Will I have to play??
No – ultimately our parties are organised as socials although lots of action does take place!! …. But to protect those who do not want to play, we have a strict no pressure policy – see party etiquette
There are always large social areas for those guests who do not want to play, plus of course the dance-floor!
How do I say “no” without offending someone??
One of the basic etiquette's in swinging is the right of anyone to say "No".
The swing world accepts the premise that everyone has the right to say "No" to anyone at anytime and it should be done with a simple "No thank you". Never give an explanation, because that is what usually causes the problems and the pain.
What is the ratio of men : females??
We try our best to ensure that our parties are not like cattle markets, which is why is vital that we are strict when managing our guest list. With that in mind the ratio that we work to is 2 Black Guys to every female.
You say that there’s no admission after 1am – Why not??
I take my role as “hostess” very seriously and ensure that me and the BMFC team members are there to welcome you as you enter our party.
We also try our best to work the room and talk to as many people as possible, introducing you to each other as we do so but, in order to do this we need to come away from the door ….
As far as I am concerned, I feel that 1am is giving people ample time to get to the party.
We also want to ensure that we take adequate measures to prevent people from turning up after they have been out getting hammered!! …
Our parties are socials and turning up drunk after 1am is not ideal
Why does the BMFC have such a good reputation??
For many reasons …
The BMFC has been established since March 2006 and it has a very strong and loyal following who appreciate the work that we do.
The BMFC Team look on our guests as “friends” and try to have the personal touch wherever possible …
We put a huge emphasis on listening to our guests and are constantly striving to make improvements …
We do this as a hobby, not a business and because of that we don’t hike up the prices and stop caring about what you all think or feel …
We’re passionate about the reputation of the BMFC and have been to enough crap clubs/parties to know what works and what doesn’t and we try our best to ensure that everyone enjoys their time at our parties.
I want to attend one of your BMFC Parties but is there a minimum age??
Generally, I would say that this lifestyle is not suitable for people under 25 – that’s my opinion and I have my reasons, however we often get approached by people who are younger and express an interest in our parties …
I ALWAYS insist that they ring the party phone and then I give them a grilling.
Everyone needs to understand that when Helen is in bitch mode, its for the benefit of the guests at the BMFC parties …
No one wants to be at a party where there’s a bunch of spring lambs jumping around or a group of young girls that think they are “gods gift” but just end up being prick teases, or a selection of boys who just can’t read the “do not touch the wet paint” sign …
Joking aside, this kind of behaviour could causes the BMFC Team a HUGE headache on the nite and would ruin some people’s evenings and possibly even ruin a party too …
But the most important thing for us isn’t the age (unless you are a minor), it’s the attitude of our guests … And when we get THAT right, we know we’re all in for a great party!!
Why do “new single guys” have to provide a biography but “new single females” don’t??
Because we get double the amount of guys then girls so we have to know a bit about the guys before they attend one of our parties. Its not war & peace we’re looking for – all we want to know
a) Your age
b) Your experience on the scene, which clubs or parties you have been to as it would be foolish for us to have a guest list full of newbies at a party. Newbies can possibly take up lots of our time during a party and can sometimes feel out of their depth, so other guests try to involve them in conversations to make them feel more comfortable, but if there was a room full of newbies where would we all start!????
c) A face pic – and when I say FACE pic I mean FACE pic … I really DON’T want to see your cock, no matter how well hung you think you are!!
I am a single white guy – can I come to a BMFC Party??
We have a theme for our parties, and when we decided on the name, we chose one that really wouldn't lead to any confusion ... Blackman's Fanclub - Parties specifically organised for ladies and couples who are attracted to Black Guys, and for Black Guys who enjoy being appreciated!! ...
I often get enquiries from Single White Guys expressing an interest in our parties and even though admission will NOT be refused based on the colour of your skin, it will be refused if you do not accept that you may NOT be the flavour required at the party!
The ladies who attend our parties do so because they are attracted to BLACK GUYS
Some of our ladies are Black Only …Some are not …. Some attend as they don't want to be hassled by any white guys. Some of our couples are cuckold, so they are on the search for a Black bull
At the BMFC we have to respect the wishes of our guests and of course we have to remember the ethos of our parties
So, for the aviodance of doubt, entry is open to all regardless of colour or race. However, as the theme of the party is ladies who like black men, if you dont fit into either of those two categories you may find nobody taking much interest in you .
Often WHITE single guys like to be voyeurs at a BMFC party and let's face it, they do get to see plenty of action. However, if at ANY stage the role changes and the boundaries start to blur or are crossed and the white single guy tried to become an active participant without gaining consent, then he may be removed from the party
Look at it this way – if you enjoy eating Pizza, you go to eat in Pizza Hut – that's what our guests are doing!!!!!
I am expecting a phone call while I am out, can I bring my mobile into the party??
Yes, but ALL mobile phones MUST be switched OFF upon entrance at a BMFC Party
If you HAVE to check your phone for missed calls or text messages then we would strongly advise you to remove yourself from the venue and check your phone or make the call outside.
This is another measure to protect the privacy of our guests and we take the breach of this rule very seriously
I am getting married soon, and was wondering if you accepted Stag / Hen Parties??
If you have all registered as BMFC members and are ALL KNOWN TO US, then YES
What kind of music can we expect to hear??
We feel that getting the right atmosphere is really important and because of that we put a lot of emphasis on getting the right DJ.
Since June 2008, we have had resident DJs' what an addition to the group this has been!!! ….
Whilst I am certain they have a huge collection of CD’s, Albums, Rare Grooves etc ... for our parties they really concentrate on playing smooth R&B, Old Skool, some great Reggae tracks and if your lucky they've even been known to throw in some hip hop too …
My name is on the guest list, but I’m getting nervous – what happens if I just don’t turn up??
If you have managed to secure a place, yet you are unable to attend the party, please contact me so that we can alter my guest list.
Single Guys who have managed to secure a much sought after limited place, but no longer want to attend the party MUST contact me to keep me informed.
That place can then be reallocated to a single guy on the reserve list
People who do not show up to the party without contacting me, will not be looked upon favourably ...
I do understand that unavoidable incidents happen however its common courtesy to keep the party organisers informed ...
Members will always be given a second chance to attend any future parties, however members who do not attend 2 consecutive parties that they have been on the guest list for will be looked upon as a time waster ...
Why do you keep on changing venues???
Admittedly, we have changed venues quite a lot over the years but as the saying goes, variety is the spice of life!!
We had to leave Club Lick, our first ever venue, as we outgrew the club – we were very close to breaking the fire regulations and we just couldn’t take a chance. Plus our guests where telling us that they wanted things that were not provided at that venue …
We then found another club, which we felt would be more suitable, and it was!!… In fact the venue was IDEAL, but it’s a shame that the owners were too greedy for their own good! ….. So for the sake of our members, we hunted around for another venue …
We really couldn’t chose between Arousals or Radlett and decided to let the members be the judge and both clubs have their own fan base!! …
Do you ever arrange “themed” events??
We have been known to organise themed events on Valentines Day and for Christmas too … If we hear that our guests want it, we can organise it!
I want to keep my “attendance” a secret, but I’m scared of joining one of your parties and seeing someone that I know – will you let me know in advance who is on the guest list???
Never – The only person that gets sight of the guest lists before a party is ME.
Once at a party, the guest list is shared with whoever is helping me out on the door!
We respect peoples privacy and will NEVER share guests names or contact details with anyone
I went to one of your parties and saw a really yummy looking guy called ******* do you know his number or how I can contact him??
Chances are that we MAY have his contact details, however I will NEVER give them out without asking the person in question for permission to do so …
But to prevent this happening again, use the "FUCKING DETAILS" cards that we hand out as you walk through the door!! … We designed the cards so that people can exchange contact details – so make the most of them while you’re at the party!!
Without sounding too snobbish – I class myself as well educated and I have a very good job in the City. Apart from “the obvious” will I have anything else in common with the other guests???
Well, if you are THAT well educated I am sure you have the ability to speak with people at all levels!! … lol
Seriously though, the majority of our guests hold down very responsible jobs – we have teachers, GPs, Lawyers, Social Workers, Surgeons etc and the conversations in the room are wide and varied, so bring your brain along and start off some stimulating conversation to our parties

AROUSALS is very much a club, where the dress code can be sexy and revealing
RADLETT tends to be where the ladies and guys make more of an effort ... its a great excuse to get glammed up and soak up the surroundings!! ...

Do I have to pay to attend a party??
Unfortunately for you, yes!
Organising these parties does cost money. Without going into detail about our costs, we have arrived at what we believe to be a fair and reasonable contribution towards the party costs.
Single Fems - £5 before midnight, £10 after
Couples - £25 before midnight, £35 after
Single Guys - £30 before midnight, £40 after (£35 and £45 respectively at Arousals)
Do I play???
Ahhhhhh the million dollar question … If I want to, trust me, I will approach you!!
